The Donkey and the Spell - L'ane et le Sort Jete
This colour animated live action and stop frame fantasy film tells the story of two enemies Super Mouse and M. Zabet. They both want the Cheese Tree. However, Super Mouse wants it to save the world and evil M. Zabet wants it to make money. They battle it out using magic and cunning. The film has opening and closing titles with English subtitles and a spoken English and French narrative.

Chiswell Jones throws, colours and glazes a christening bowl before it is decorated with the silver pigment and fired in the kiln. Produced in 2005, it won two prestigious awards at the British International Amateur Film Festival.

This live action animated fantasy narrative tells the story of a robber and a policeman in a street. The Policeman is then beamed up into a spaceship where he meets a group of aliens. The Policeman fights the aliens with his sword to get away. The film ends with the Policeman having a party. This film has a voice-over narrative with sound effects. The Happy Journey
This colour fantasy animation is about two characters: 'Shi Shi In The Ground' and 'Sunny Ghost Head', that go on an adventure to look for a book. Along the way they meet some interesting people that tell them where to go using a different forms of transportation. The film has subtitles, music and voice over narration throughout.
This animated and live-action 'music video' style film shows a dream sequence of a young learning disabled woman called Debbie. Debbie is trapped in her house by her wicked aunt. The only way she can get out of the house is in her dreams. The film shows dream people guiding her and helping her to run away. This film, made by participants in Carousel, an arts organisation by and for people with learning disabilities, is a black & white animated music video that plays in reverse. It tells the story of the Man in the Hat, who encourages the viewer to follow the signs and movement he creates, as he dances and moves through different locations in a fantasy world. The music is provided by Beat Express, a learning disabled rock group also supported by Carousel.
Arrival in the Big City
This animated colour live action music video, was made by participants in Carousel, an arts organisation by and for people with learning disabilities. It illustrates what it feels like to be lost in a big city – everything is very big and scary, and it always rains. It includes shots of The Apollo theatre, Hammersmith. The music is provided by Beat Express, a learning disabled rock group also supported by Carousel for the Debbie Rock Angel Opera.
Trug makers Sarah Page and Tim Franks demonstrate how a traditional Sussex basket is made using sweet chestnut and willow, a craft that is under threat of extinction. The film, produced by amateur film-makers Harry Lederman and Alan Tutt in 2007, features footage of The Truggery from Screen Archive South East, filmed by F. P. Barnitt in the 1930s.

This promotional film was produced by the Pestalozzi International Village Trust based at Sedlescombe in East Sussex. The film begins with an overview of the history of Pestalozzi and goes on to feature interviews with students and staff about their experiences of Pestalozzi today.
This animated film was created by a group of learning disabled young people, facilitated by Carousel and Junk TV as part of the Oska Bright Film Festival and Young Roots programme. The film explores the history of their home town of Worthing, West Sussex, through documents and objects held in the Worthing Museum collections from 1800s to the present day. The young people narrate the story in their own words.
This colour contemporary dance and movement film, based on the theme of 'Animals of Land and Sea', tells the story of a group of wild animals attending a party together, with spinning star fish, lions and Elephants. A group of penguins decide to join in and make friends with the other animals. The movement came from stories written by the dancers, accompanied by a soundtrack that represented the sounds of animal life in the sea, the jungle and the city.

Objects from Hove Museum's memorabilia collection inspired the young film-makers, who have a variety of learning disabilities, to complete the project as a team.
