Various scenes of people and farm animals at a farm; people gathering for photographs after a wedding and the couple leaving for their honeymoon; ‘Grandma leaving Worthing’ - an elderly lady leaving home and getting into a car; and scenes at Hastings’ outdoor pool and diving from the high boards.
This edited colour and black and white film shows the Giles' family in Surrey and on outings to West Sussex during the late 1940s. The film also includes races at Goodwood; the Olympic torch passing through Surrey; and the unveiling of a memorial gate at Prescott House (Bugatti Owners Club) designed by a member of the Giles family.

In the spring the children play with the cat in the garden, the family visit Shirley Park Hotel and Ightham Mote. In June the family decorate their home and hold a party for the Queen's Coronation. In July they go to Yardley Court school sports day [Tonbridge], play croquet and relax in the garden.
