This edited colour film shows a visit to the Grand Pavilion at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, with close-ups of the "Dobbies" display and others; and a Three Bridges Free Church Sunday School outing to Littlehampton beach. The children swim, sunbathe and eat Ice lollies on the sand. The film closes with a group of teenage girls and adults playing a game of rounders on the Hazelwick School playing field, followed by a picnic lunch.

The Compleat Angler Fishing Club of Eastbourne make a trip to a lake near Turners Hill in Crawley, West Sussex, in the early 1960s. The day-trippers are filmed by Eddie Morris travelling to and from the lake by coach; fishing and weighing their catch.
