This edited black and white and colour film follows a boat trip along the Thames between Windsor and Marlow. The boat passes through a lock and past the 'Compleat Angler Hotel' in Marlow. The second part of the film shows Marlow under flood conditions ca.1950s.
A compilation of amateur material shot by a member of Haywards Heath Cine & Video Society. The film begins with a sequence dedicated to pub exteriors and their signs. The film-maker and his wife visit Gloucester Cathedral and the model village at Bourton-on-the-Water before sunbathing on the beach at Beer, watching the fishing boats coming in.
