Sightsavers in Africa
This colour documentary film presented by Mark Curry from the BBC's Blue Peter programme, follows the work of the BBC Blue Peter appeal in 1986 that raised over two million pounds for the Royal Commonwealth Society for the Blind (Sightsavers) in Africa. The film includes excerpts from the BBC programme leading into a film showing the extent of poor eye health of children in Kenya and the work being done to restore sight with money from the appeal.
