This film follows the Corder family on holiday in Newquay, Cornwall. The family play on the beach, have a game of tennis at the Bredon Court (Hotel ?) Tennis Court, feed ducks in a park and seagulls on the beach.
The film opens with the family playing on a beach. A toddler is seen playing with a bucket and spade in the sand.
The film then shows several panoramas of the coastline and cars parked next to a road. The scene moves to a cliff overlooking a beach. Mr and Mrs Corder are seen on a cliff, taking photographs. This is followed by exterior shots of a hotel or guest house garden. Mr and Mrs Corder are seen sitting on a garden lounge swing seat reading newspapers. The scene then returns to the Bredon Court, where a couple play a game of tennis. The coastline can be seen through the construction site that surrounds the tennis court.
The family are then seen in a park, feeding the ducks, with a young child in a pushchair. A group of ducklings try to climb up the bank off the water, whilst a large white swan sits on the bank next to the river. The family then go for a walk along the riverbank. The family are seen sitting in a seafront garden, with panoramic shots of the sea front. A child in a garden is seen playing with a tortoise and feeding it with buttercups. Mr Corder joins in.
The film then returns to the beach, with the family playing together in the water and a child playing with a bucket and spade. A man and woman are seen swimming and playing in the sea. Mr Corder then feeds several seagulls by throwing food into the air without the birds landing. The film then shows several narrow streets lined with shops and people. The film then shows a sandcastle building competition on the beach, with rows of people on the beach building sandcastles.
