Description

The film opens with the family in their garden. Portrait style shots of several family members wearing smart clothing follow. These include various shots of a toddler in a pram, a young boy and an adult playing with a miniature wheelbarrow and lawnmower, pushing both around the garden. The boy and man play together - putting soil into the wheelbarrow with the child repeatedly tipping it out next to the original pile of soil. Several shots of the adults posing for the camera in the garden and playing with the toddler. Two boys sit on the lawn next to a model railway track.

On the beach, with changing tents and chalk cliffs behind, a family group of women (wearing cloche hats) with children, sit and smile for the camera. One of the women and a boy hold hands on the beach with the sea behind.

Returning to the garden in more wintery scenes, a man smiles and then smokes a cigarette. The small boy is also seen in the garden. A new born baby is filmed indoors. A boy and a man work together in the garden. Shots of a baby in a pram is followed by scenes of her in a tub being bathed and being held by her mother. Final shots show young girl riding a tricycle in the garden.
