This edited colour and black and white film shows the Corder family on an outing to a beach; Visiting Lancing College and having a family picnic in the countryside. Several military aircraft are spotted by the film-maker flying overhead whilst the children splash about in the sea.
In the first sequence, the family visit a beach and the children paddle and play with buckets and spades dressed in swimwear. This is followed by shots of the family on a day out visiting Lancing College in West Sussex. Moving shots of the cloister and memorial follow, filmed through a doorway.
In the next sequence the family are in a garden of a 1930s house (?), standing around a brick pond chatting. The children are looking into the pond. Silhouetted interior shots follow of the family sat indoors on a sofa.
The next sequence shows the Corder family on an outing to the countryside by car (MY 3220) and having a picnic on a path at the side of the road. The film then returns to the family on a beach playing with buckets and spades, and a dog runs around on the sand. The film then focuses on a silhouetted plane flying overhead. This film then cuts to colour footage of the beach and the children running about playing on the beach. Shots then show another plane (Possibly a surveillance or observation plane ?) and an autogiro flying above the beach (?). Several of the beach sequences are similar to TID: 9786 - with the children playing in swimwear in Lancing or Worthing).
