Description

This film provides highlights of events that includes the senior school prize-giving ceremonies presented by Sir John Cockcroft in the main school hall, several 'house' drill competitions from the groups of the Uniformed Combined Cadet Force and the opening of the new squash courts in the sports block, with shots of the competitive swimming and distance running events.

The next sequence shows the school Drum Corp. Scouts and cadets escorting the school boys and teachers to the School Founders Day church service at Croydon Minster. The group parade through the streets of South Croydon, stopping at Croydon Minster where crowds are waiting outside for them to arrive. The school group are dressed in uniform and traditional collegiate black gowns.

The final section of the film shows highlights of the school Sports Day event with shots of track and field events. The film is narrated and accompanied by music throughout with opening and closing titles.
