This edited film shows the home life of a family group with a new baby and toddler that includes bottle feeding the baby and going on an outing to a beach to paddle in the sea. The film also shows scenes of the toddler girl with her mother playing in a garden paddling pool, having her face and hands cleaned to remove strawberry jam and watching the heavy rain flood the family garden at home.
This family film opens with scenes of a mother bottle feeding a new-born baby in the nursery and a young girl copying her mother, by bottle feeding a doll.
The next section shows a young girl in a garden playing with a worm, showing it to the camera and riding on a tricycle. This is followed by shots of the little girl out with her mother and her new baby brother on a day trip to Ferring. The family group sit together on a lawn. The family also visit a beach and paddle in the water.
The film returns to the family home at Laleham, with the young girl and her mother playing together in the garden and in a inflatable paddling pool. The shots cuts to views of the garden filmed from an upstairs window, with the rain pouring out of the guttering completely flooding the garden and the street outside.
The final scene shows an interior shot of the young girl with her mouth and hands covered in jam, and she shows her hands to the camera. Her mother cleans wipes the girl's hands.
