This family film shows several outings and family scenes that includes portrait shots of a new-born baby, a brief shot of former Prime minister Winston Churchill's funeral train passing through Staines station, on route to Handborough and the family together at the Thames Valley Skiff Club rowing Thames Skiffs. The film closes with scenes of a beach outing to Shoreham-by-Sea to visit friends.
Winston Churchill is a Southern Railway Battle of Britain class 4-6-2 Pacific steam locomotive, now housed at the National Railway Museum, York. The train was used to carry the body of the former prime minister to his family home of Hanborough in Oxfordshire for his funeral.
