Description

This film opens with an AGFA title dated 1939. Several men address a group of young men and women before they take part in athletic events on a playing field. Several men compete in races and long jump events and both the men and women take part in shot put events.

The next section shows a group of male and female fire fighters training to put out a fire in a barn and rescue personnel, with the women dressed in flight suits and high heels, carrying the fire hoses. The film then cuts back to the playing field with older men and women running the long jump and track races. The film ends on a cafe scene where men and women sit around tables with neatly laid tablecloths.
