A middle-aged man dreams of a younger companion in this 1900 film by George Albert Smith.
An man is seen sitting at a table with a young masked woman in a Pierrot costume. They smoke and drink and laugh. He encourages her to take off her mask and continues to flirt with her. The image defocusses. When the camera focusses again the scene is revealed to be a dream. He wakes in bed with his middle-aged wife, both wear bed caps and nightshirts. She grumpily brushes his arm off her shoulder and they go back to sleep with their backs to one another.
