Description

"1951 Manston Grove" "17th September 1951"

Several children are seen playing in a garden, followed by the front and rear views of the house with chickens roaming about.

"1951 Grove Making Mud Pies"

Three children play in the garden, digging up the grass to get to the soil to make mud pies so they can throw them at a flint stone wall. Several other children join the group to make mud pies and play in the garden.

"1951 Grove Penny Waters and Sooty"

A black and white portrait shot opens with a young girl with long hair, siting on a wall or stone pillar in a garden (?) holding a hair brush, followed by portrait views of a black Labrador dog (Sooty) sitting in the garden and in the back of a Second World War Jeep. The Jeep is towing a trailer on the driveway (?).

"1951 Pegwell Bay"
