A short intertitled film showing scenes from a 'fireman's wedding' at an urban church. The newly weds are seen exiting the church under an arch of fire axes. The couple then leave in the decorated fire engine.
The film begins with a car bringing the bride to the church in her flowing lace wedding dress, followed by the arrival of a fire engine, decorated with ribbons as the wedding coach [PX 1141 - used between 1923-1929 in West Sussex]. People gather in the street to watch the wedding party exit the church as the bride and groom leave under an 'arch of axes' held by the fire fighters, while guests throw confetti. The couple climb aboard the fire engine, driven off by the fire crew.
