Starting in Bury, West Sussex, we see a woman playing with a dog in a large garden and walking through the village, passing churches and a public house, as well as having a picnic in the sunshine. Next stop is Bognor Regis, where we see the same woman on the beach and sitting in a deck chair. There are shots of boats and a jetty, as well as exterior shots of houses on Aldwick Bay estate, an affluent part of Bognor Regis nicknamed 'The Sussex Riviera'. From here the film takes us to Worthing and includes brief shots of a Punch and Judy show by the pier, deck chairs, the beach and sea front entertainment, such as a boating lake and paddling pool. Footage of Arundel is featured next, with views of the high street, castle and main bridge over the River Arun. At Southsea, there are brief scenes of the woman walking through public gardens and of bathers on the sea front, followed by several shots taken from a boat looking back towards shore. An inter title then reads 'Ryde, I.O.W.' and we see footage of the pier and some street scenes on the Isle of Wight. After shots of two ships, HMY. Brittania at sea and HMS Victory at harbour, a new inter title appears: 'Goodwood'. We see a shot of the empty racecourse, followed by some footage of Cowdray Castle in Midhurst, West Sussex. A trip to Rye is featured next and we see the woman walking through the town including shots of Mermaid Street and the Ypres Tower. The final day trip recorded on this film is at Deal in Kent. Here we see footage of a wooden boat being dragged onto a shingle beach, as well as a lifeboat and a shot of Deal Castle.
