Summary

The Brickell children play in the front garden at their Glynde home with their mother and father in 1962, followed by scenes of a large road being built over a wide river (?) and the driveway or road to a rural house.

Description

A man stands outside a modern house with several children. One of the girls plays on a swing, smiling while kicking her legs in the air. The man is seen in portrait. A woman talks to him from the window and they both smile and laugh at the camera. A young girl jumps into her father's arms from the window ledge. In the front garden, one of the girls wears a policeman's flat cap and marches up to her mother, who laughs at her play. The girl tips her hat. Another of the children grins at the camera. A man helps the father of the children mow the lawn with a push mower, stopping to wipe his brow. They turn over soil in the garden with forks. Landscape views follow. A panorama shows a road bridge under construction over a river.[?] and a view of a rural road with flowers.
