Summary

Various of scenes from the Riley motorcar factory (Durbar Avenue Works?), shot by Ernest Shippam at the end of the 1920s.

Description

A car draws up to a factory. The camera pans across the factory buildings showing a number of cars parked outside. Workers move parts on trolleys in a yard and drive small industrial cart vehicles. Machinery and workers are shown building the cars inside the factory. The finished cars are seen driving out of the building and parked inside one of the indoor sheds. Footage of a rural road shot from a moving car follows, as the vehicle passes a horse and trap driving in the other direction (Shaky).
