Summary

A group of holidaymakers visit Spain and film a bull run. At a beach, a group of men go skinny dipping and play on the beach in the nude. A woman leaves hospital with her new born baby. Returning to Barcelona and Catalonia there are extended scenes of a bull fight and scenes filmed on holiday around Spain.

Description

This holiday film, by Lewis Rosenberg, shows scenes of 1950s Spain starting with a bull-run followed by beach scenes showing Lewis and friends playing in the sea and on the beach in the nude. In London a pregnant woman walks along a path while a man pretends to listen to her belly using a pipe. Outside the University College London Maternity Hospital the woman, now with her newly born baby, poses for the camera.

Returning to Spain there are street-scenes, outdoor cafés and trams. There are lengthy scenes of a bullfight followed by scenes in Barcelona including a funicular railway.

The group visit caves and meet the local people, possibly Spanish gypsies. In scenes at a Spanish town, women are seen threading short sticks together and a man plays guitar. Lewis Rosenberg and another man, both wearing sombreros, drink wine from porrons.
