A film of a church nativity play, called the 'Carols of Bethlehem', from 1944, in which the film-maker's daughter, Margaret Newman, plays an angel.
The film opens with the shepherds huddled around the fire; a group of 5 angels appear, including Margaret who has several lines in the play. The camera then cuts to a shot of one of the teachers in a tweed suit, playing the piano. Next the three wise men, are seen and the camera pans out to reveal the whole group, including the angels.
