Summary

A man rushes to get to work on time before he realises it's Sunday in this production by the North Downs Cinematograph Society Comedy Group.

Description

"The Comedy Group presents... Rush Hour." Music throughout, no commentary. A man wakes up when his alarm goes off but turns over. A paper boy pushes a newspaper into his letter box half an hour later, waking him again. This time he jumps out of bed and running down stairs. He fills the kettle and falls out of the bathroom when it boils. He shaves while making the tea, mistakenly drinking the shaving foam water. He burns the toast and eats cornflakes hurriedly with a serving spoon. He runs upstairs to dress and returns, fixing his tie before running outside, still wearing his slippers. He changes his shoes and ties his laces before rushing out of the house, taking the newspaper and an umbrella. He walks to the bus stop, checking his watch. Waiting for the bus he opens the newspaper, reading "Sunday Express." The End. Credits: Tony, Shirley Duncan, David, Michael, Bill, Peter, Zillah, Joan and Stephen.
