Description

This amateur colour comedy-drama production tells the story of a misunderstanding between two groups of friends that plan to meet following their retirement. The couple who retire as members of a local Choral society tell members at a Christmas party that they are moving house, relocating to the village of 'Lindfield', West Sussex. At the close of the party, the guests leave, with one couple promising to give the relocating couple a call, once they have settled in to their new home. Some time later, the couple telephone them to make arrangements to meet up in their village. However, the couple have trouble getting to them, getting lost and ending up at the village of 'Lingfield', Surrey, several miles away; leaving the couple in 'Lindfield' waiting for them, wondering what has happened to them, as they do not show up.

The film has opening and closing tiles and credits [sound removed from online clip over opening and closing sequence].
