The Parfitt family film "Riviera" scenes on Southwick Beach and an air display at Farnborough in Hampshire in 1964.

"Riviera" animated titles open the film. Family members walk up Southwick Beach from the sea in bathing costumes. Angela, Les Parfitt's daughter lies on the beach in a striped bikini. Her mother drinks tea from a teacup. Angela and a young man approach the water, goofing around before diving in. They walk up the beach from the water, Angela shaking her hair out of a swimming cap. Other family members paddle and throw sticks into the water. Les and Joy Parfitt are seen together, sitting on the beach, smiling to the camera. The family members sun bathe, apply sun lotion and read the newspaper. Angela and the young man carry a boat up the pebbles. Other families are shown paddling and enjoying the beach. An air display at Farnborough in Hampshire follows. Planes are seen in the sky. biplanes dip low to the airfield and a parachute opens up over head, falling to the ground. Seaplanes and other light aircraft are seen, as are helicopters and Red Arrows flying in formation, lines of coloured vapour emitted from behind.
