Summary

A short semi narrative amateur film looking at the making and distribution of teleprinter machines.

Description

The film begins with a Teleprinter being installed and worked on by engineers, the staff go home and the deserted office is shown with cartoon's on the wall, a kettle and tea cups and the teleprinter. With no one in the office the teleprinter types away in the dark. The next day we see engineers working on the teleprinter and the machine typing, it writes 'hello there I'm the new Post Office recruit otherwise known as the teleprinter'. The film ends with the engineers delivering a machine to Southern Gas in Paulsgrove Portsmouth.
