Description

The camera pans across Dell Quay Marine. Club houses circle moored sailing and rowing boats. 'A Tale for Three or a Meaty Problem:' Two men stand with a dog. A rowing boat reaches a larger boat and two sailors climb on board. Footage taken from a moving boat of moored boats and sailing boats follows. 'Our Club House:' Views of quayside buildings and moored boats. 'Dell Quay S.C. Regatta:' Sailing boats are seen at a distance and close up. 'Fishing from Start to Finish:' Men dig for bait before setting out to fish. Some sit on the sides of the boats with fishing rods. Footage is shot from another boat, moving through the water. 'The Weigh "in" - Oct. 10th 1954:' the fish are weighed by three men at a table. One adds weights to the scales to balance the load. 'Scenes up to the Harbour:' sailing boats, gulls and the club houses on the hard are seen in footage shot from a moving boat. A church and steeple are seen as the boat moves towards the hard. 'Armorel:' a motor boat is driven through the water. 'Our President and Commodore for 1955:' a man drives a sailing boat with an outboard motor through the water, pulling a row boat behind. 'After the November Storm 1954:' boats are seen on their sides. The camera pans across choppy water, empty of sailing boats.
