Summary

A compilation of home movie footage which features a family motorholiday to Spain.

Description

The film opens with images of the garden of the film-maker's Surrey home. Flowers populate the garden whilst young girls and kitten play on the grass. A fete takes place in the grounds of a school - visitors peruse the stalls and watch as girls perform a Scottish folk dance. An outings to the house and grounds of Sheffield Park ends with portraits of adult friends and family.

The film continues with footage of a family motorholiday to Spain. The holidaymakers enjoy the sandy beaches, visit towns and villages, and take several ferry journeys. On one occasion their car gets stuck in a field - they attempt to free it by putting branches under its back wheels. When they are on the road again, the film-maker films as the car drives along Spanish roads. They explore the streets of the old town and watch as local children participate in a Catholic festival. They also have breakfast in a courtyard, take a donkey ride through a village, and film as planes land at an airport.
