Description

Film of a Jubilee parade in Bognor Regis in honour of George V, shot by Ralph Staley from a window above his drapers shop in the High Street. The film shows bunting decorating the street and the Jubilee procession including a marching band and floats. The floats include a vehicle draped in a banner that reads: 'Bognor Regis offers you - The Royal Key to Health', Soldiers sat on the back of a truck decorated in Union flags with large weaponry; a series of paraders promoting local health services; and several ship and boat style floats. The high street fills with people following the parade, where couples dance in the street to a live band aboard a vehicle. Several people dressed as Pedrolino style European clowns dance around the truck.

At the family home Pam plays with a tabby cat who sits on top of a thicket hedge, poking it with a broom handle.
