Description

Fourth year pupils are shown undertaking a project involving an investigation into local government which includes visits to a sewage farm, a police station and other public amenities, followed by an exhibition of the project. Also featured is a school trip to Bristol where pupils visit the docks and the cathedral and take an outing to Bath. The school sports day is recorded, as are the preparations for, and part of the performance of, the school play. Reel two includes much of the same material as reel one, with additional footage of Bristol and Bath, including a visit to Bristol zoo, sevral dockyards including Avonmouth, a Cathedral, and watching cargo being loaded/unloaded on the dockside. Military vessels line the dockyard with sailors.
