This film shows Herne Hill Cricket Club on tour, playing matches against a number of Kent clubs including Folkestone, Rye, Dover, and Chatham. The players are seen on and off the field, socialising between matches.
A E Ford's film shows Herne Hill Cricket Club playing various Kentish teams across the county as well as giving the scores. The opening credits list the players and gives the overall scores: Played 6, Won 3, Lost 0, Drawn 3. The film begins with some practice sessions then a match at Folkestone before moving on to Rye. Some players are filmed in close-up, socialising between matches. Matches at Dover and Chatham House are followed by a game against the Lincolnshire Regiment. This is followed by another match at Dover with further gatherings on the clubhouse verandah. A group shot ends the film.
