Summary
Short item showing speeches, and the unveiling of a new coat of arms for Leatherhead Urban District Council.
Description
A man and a woman stand and give speeches outside a Council building. A large flag bearing the new arms, hangs from the building above the door. Behind it a plaque with the coat of arms is revealed. A close-up of the plaque shows the motto "Service Links All". Elements of the design commemorate the service of Civil Defence volunteers in the district during the Second World War.
Film is related to Civilians in Uniform and shows various film crews in the background filming the unveiling.
