This black and white family film from the Thirties begins with toddlers playing in a large garden. The Brett family then leave their home and get into the family car. In Broadstairs, they walk down a steep path towards the crowded beach where the children play. Later, daughter Pat celebrates her sixth birthday as family and friends come to visit and play in the garden. The children are seen with their pets and toy prams and later two older men are seen playing golf on the lawn.
