This film is a compilation in four parts featuring the sporting activities of the pupils of Ladycross school; various scenes of the family at leisure both in the garden and at the seaside; a boating trip at Isfield; and fishing at the harbour in Newhaven.

The film starts with shots of some pink Lupins in a garden. The next sequence shows the various activities of a sports day at Ladycross School: with many different running races; obstacle courses; afternoon tea; and military-style demonstrations. The next sequence consists of mixed scenes of family at leisure and begins with a group of mothers taking afternoon tea in the garden while the children play. This is followed by various scenes including: the family and children playing with a large white rabbit; scenes of swimming at the beach; mixed shots of the garden; a fishpond, and close-up shots of flowers; a rural landscape; children fishing with nets from the side of a large pond; girls playing with parasols in the garden, and with a doll's house in subsequent shots. A sequence of the family swimming at the beach follows (this sequence also appears in TID 10151), together with further footage of the children in the garden playing in the fish pond. The third section depicts a trip to the boating lake at Isfield; the children fishing, and a family picnic on the bank. The final section shows the family at Newhaven harbour, views of Newhaven Lighthouse, watching the boats, and fishing from the jetty.
